Mainly, the material I use I have bought from "The Craft Cit" a shop in the town Alsmeer in Holland. I`ve been going there so many times during the years filling up my back-pack and my suitcases with glossy glass and rock material. Things we don`t have in Norway.

"The Craft Kit is a big shop where they import all kinds og stone, tiles, rock and glass materialls from all over the world to sell to workers and artists from all over Europe who need this in their work. It is a fantastic place!!!!

I`ve also used muck recycled glass material inn my works and also natural rock and stones found right next door out in our beautiful nature. I am a freequent visitour of garage-sales, FreeTex and Second hand shops. The material I find, the shapes that show up is a big "turn-on" and a inspiration for my work.  It is so exciting to use second hand material.

Mitt materiale har jeg i hovedsak kjøpt inn i butikken "The Craft Kit" i byen Alsmeer i Holland. Jeg har reist dit utallige ganger og fylt opp sekk og koffert med glass og stein for å reise hjem og jobbe videre med.

The Craft Kit er et lagerutsalg med 1000-vis av ulike glass og steinprodukter. Mange handverkere reiser hit for å handle fliser til sitt interiørarbeide, men også mange kunstnere fra mange land i Europa handler materialer for sitt arbeide her. Det er et fantastisk sted.

Også, har jeg brukt mye brukt glass og stein i mine arbeider. Jeg har saumfart loppemarkeder og bruktbutikker etter de rette farvene og de rette formene. Spennende å bruke gjenbruk.
